  • SOBA Bus Trip McLeod's Brewery, 8 Wired, The Sawmill Brewery, The Beer Spot, and Britomart

    Taking some liberties with the definition of Super City, SOBA's heading north to our extended Auckland family. As far north as McLeod's brewery in Waipu with stops at 8Wired, Sawmill (for lunch) and The Beer Spot on the way.

    Tickets cost $25 for SOBA members, $50 for non-members, and are available from the SOBA website.

    Please note that lunch and any beers you want at Sawmill and The Beer Spot are not included in the ticket cost. The Sawmill will be offering us $15 tasting trays (normally $25).

    Come join us for an Epic Beer and Whiskey pairing, hosted by Luke from Epic and Sam from The House of Whiskey. We have matched 5 Epic Beers to 5 whiskeys from around the world.

    There are only 40 seats available, so be sure to get your tickets early. Tickets are $69 and are only available from The Brewers Co-Operative, on a first come, first served basis.

    We strongly advise leaving the car at home for this one, in true Epic style, the beers are strong, and the whiskeys are even stronger. Snacks will be provided, there will be plenty of water on hand too, and spittoons for those who want to taste but not imbibe.
